Arena Liquor of Dallas, Texas uses CATAPULT to streamline its business processes. We spoke with owner Manhar Meghani who gave us some insight into how CATAPULT is helping him take control of his retail operation.
Meghani: We started out in the convenience store business in the Arlignton, TX area. Being in a related industry, we noticed a demand for liquor retail in certain parts of Dallas. That's when we decided to open up Arena Liquor.
Meghani: Our customer base is primarily from the white collar sector, but we have new customers finding out about us all the time. We're located in an area of Dallas adjacent to a large hospital district. The second largest loading and distribution center in the US is in our backyard. We're also in close proximity to a world commerce center and the Dallas InfoMart, the world's largest technology community.
Meghani: I can't imagine a system that would have been any easier. I had virtually no computer experience when we opened our store with CATAPULT, and neither did my employees. I was worried initially, but that faded as soon as I realized how user-friendly CATAPULT really was. The system's flexibility allows Arena Liquor to tackle new challenges as they arise.
Meghani: the scanning at the point of sale keeps customer check out times down to a minimum. Plus, we can now operate with the confidence that all of our products are being tracked by CATAPULT/s inventory control features. We also have a hand-held terminal that we use for various inventory tasks. I can say with confidence that catapult is playing an important role in helping us manage our store more effectively.
Meghani: They're great! No matter when I call them, they are able to address any issues I may have right away.
Meghani: Definitely! I would tell any liquor store owner to go out and buy CATAPULT.
