The Attendant Workstation
The Attendant Workstation (AWS) allows an attendant to monitor security and assist customers quickly and easily on up to six lanes simultaneously using a split-screen monitor. Having an attendant present encourages more customers to use self-checkout for the first time. During periods of peak traffic, the AWS has the ability to serve as an additional checkout lane.
