ECRS seeks applicants for the position of Systems Configuration Specialist.

Job Summary

ECRS develops and implements a full range of technologies that power many of the world's retail automation systems. The ECRS Deployment Group is looking for a Systems Configuration Specialist. The ECRS Deployment Group is dedicated to meeting the expectations of over 13,000 external customers by procuring, staging, configuring, coordinating installation & training, and deploying world class automation solutions for the retail industry. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary. Responsibilities include receiving, staging equipment and software for customer orders, ensure all equipment is on hand and in proper operating order, shipping, inventory management and loss prevention, assisting & coordinating with other departments with needs related to Deployment, record keeping of customer information. Production timeline management in a fast-paced environment responsible for the quality assurance of all aspects of the deployment process. Problem determination and troubleshooting skills are required.

Requirements

The following knowledge or experience is required: strong understanding of a PC/Server hardware and software environment & operations; understanding and experience with inventory management and production procedures; sound familiarity of Window's operating systems; LAN/WAN networks, strong personal communication skills; strong customer service skills; ability to organize and prioritize work in a mostly fast-paced, changing environment; technical aptitude and an ongoing learning attitude; professional attitude and a team player; strong work ethic; and self-motivated/career oriented. Task flexibilty, customer service, and a 2-year degree or 2 years professional experience in a computer-related field is a plus.
