Reports to: Marketing and Communications Director
ECRS seeks applicants for the position of a lead designer on its Marketing Team that will focus on all marketing and communication efforts.
Job Summary
ECRS develops and implements a full range of technologies that power many of the world's retail automation systems. The ECRS Marketing/Communications Dept. is looking for a talented, experienced, and motivated individual to do Graphic Design (both web and print formats), Web Design and HTML, Flash project design, basic editing, assist with trade shows and events, basic copy writing, external customer/partner communication efforts, and light clerical work. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary with additional compensation & advancement opportunities.
Requirements
The following knowledge or experience is required: Proficient in Graphic Design techniques and programs such as Photoshop & Illustrator; working knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office & PowerPoint; excellent communications skills, ability to manage tasks in a timely, organized manner; Web Design and HTML skills; experience with Flash Design; excellent writing and grammar skills; ability to take criticism, advice, and project direction; willingness to be a positive ambassador for the company at all times; creativity and open-mindedness; ability to work well with others. Technical aptitude and an ongoing learning & professional attitude and a team player; strong work ethic; and self-motivated/career oriented; telephone and personal communication skills a plus. 2+ years experience with both print graphic and web design and a 4-year degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising.
Requirements
The following knowledge or experience is required: Experience with reconciling intra-company and allocation accounts; working knowledge of sales order processing; proven experience with computer and accounting software; significant experience with Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable; proven experience collaborating across a wide spectrum of functional groups; strong verbal and written skills, self-directed, detail oriented, desire for continual self-improvement, strong telephone & personal communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize; work in a mostly fast-paced, changing environment; technical aptitude and an ongoing learning attitude; professional attitude and a team player; strong work ethic; and self-motivated/career oriented. Sales tax reporting experience is a plus. Four or more years of hands on general accounting experience.
